There are three NPCs that appear after you beat the Winter Wyrm in the Wild. One of them gives you your spear spell and the other two do literally nothing. I currently want to focus on Clare Brighteyes. While the character itself offers no information, another NPC does. Lail Brighteyes in Zafaria. Lail was one of the students you were trying to rescue in the Zafaria storyline. Is it possible that these characters are connected, and there was something planned involving them? This subject interests me, mainly because NPCs who aren't involved with anything seem a bit strange.
