just wanted to know if there is a boss i could farm for merle's whiser and amber dust to craft deer knight spell. i tried the easy way out by buying a ton of packs but after spending literally over 150,000 crowns on the pack and not getting it. i decided its not worth all the money i am spending to get it via packs. so please if anyone knows a good spot where i can farm for merle's whisker and amber dust please tell me
I crafted the spell, and I can say that farming for merle's whiskers and amber dust is insanity. The transmute amber is the long route, to say the least. Instead, farm for some king parsley seeds, and you can have multiple wizards running 32 or 64 plant gardens in no time. King parsley multiplies very fast. Bosses in Dragonspyre drop them, check the wiki on central. Spend your crowns on the bubbling cauldron ( a KP like) instead. Transmuting amber for the spell is borderline madness.
Although I haven't crafted this spell I went into a little research just for you lol. So this page has a list of bosses that you can obtain Merle's Whisker from.
Merle's whisker can be found from last fight in Mirror Lake. It's a rare drop. As others have said, you might want to look into gardening for amber also.
