Just try buying some at the bazaar or looking around the worlds on basically empty realms. This morning i went to mooshu and went to a practically deserted realm. I found plenty of mist wood, black lotus, deep mushrooms, cattail, etc. Some bosses drop some pretty rare reagents but i wouldn't try really- its time consuming if you have insanely horrible luck issues o: try looking on wiki too to see where specific reagents can be found
