What are Balance Moonstone used for in Beastmoon?

I found one other post asking this question from more than a year ago, but it went unanswered.

So, I will ask again, does anyone know what Balance Moonstone are used for?

They are not used for Balance Seeds, Harmonius Moonstone are used for Balance Seeds.

None of the crafted gear requires moonstone either.

Seems like it's useless.

I suppose its main use is transmuting it to either the Element or Spirit Reagent, but its also used in Elixir, Furniture, and TC recipes

IIRC it's also used in level 3 beast upgrades for Balance forms.
