Typically I'm shown about 2-3 videos per day with this feature, however this morning I was left with a black screen, but still awarded crowns anyway after I clicked out. I did leave it up for a fair amount of time, maybe 20 to 30 seconds, and I checked that I wouldn't be credited for just clicking out. Yet I kept receiving more and more crowns off of this, after maybe 5 times I stopped, because as I said, I usually only receive a couple per day. If this was simply a bug I didn't want to exploit it... Anyone else experience this?
I noticed that happening, too. I also noticed that those black screens were triggering malware warnings and crashing the game. It sounds like KingsIsle has a serious bone broken somewhere with those Earn Crowns videos.
