I've been having significant troubles with Earn Crowns lately. I'll open the window and click the "Watch now" button and it will just show a black screen or an error message after waiting nearly 5 minutes. I wish I could give more detail, but I don't know of any more. Can someone please look into this?
I have also experienced the same issues. I found out not too much later that my firewall was blocking the connection that would make the in-game crown earning experience possible. I would make sure that your firewall isn't blocking any components of Wizard101.
