it doesnt add up

normally when i put and enhancement on a card the full value is added.

but when i put a colossal (275) on a scarcrow (400) it adds to 583

not 675 as the values indicate..... can one of the Profesors please tell me

why this occurs?

They split the enchantments on death drain spells. Half of the enchantment goes to the damage - the other half comes back to you in the drain.

(which, for the record, I don't agree with. I think death should get the whole amount applied to the damage amount, and then you get half of 675 back in the drain)

When you compare it to when the cards were first introduced and KI didn't allow enhancing drain spells at all....it seems more fair to me.
