lone pets in the arena? proffessor?

alright for the past 2or 3 days i have seen many pets with no owner around whatsoever. only in the arena that is. I have seen one stromzilla in the same spot two days in arrow. Muffin the zilla; i am starting to grow feelings for that little guy.

Correction this has been happening for months now. No clue how or what is being done about it.
