Loremaster Spell Drop Glitch

Hello all you wizards!

I'm relatively new to the forums here, but there has been a concern for me as of today regarding the Loremaster dropping spells. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to receive and the spell Krampus. After a while of farming today, I've noticed that when you receive a spell, it makes a certain noise and displays the spell. But after one particular battle, it made the noise, but nothing displayed showing I got a spell. I thought this was strange, and I only got experience from the battle. I checked my deck to see if it by chance popped up there, but there was not anything new. After a second consecutive battle, the same exact thing happened again. I checked my deck and not a new spell, just the noise and nothing displaying. Could this be a glitch of some kind that gives you a spell you already have (I've noticed Krampus is dropping more frequently since it's the holidays) but doesn't display it? Or am I supposed to be receiving a spell but it's just not gonna show up?
I find this rather frustrating and hope it doesn't keep happening again. Thanks guys!

I've also noticed, as you mentioned, that Krampus seems to be dropping for a lot of folks. Normally the spell drops are totally random but perhaps KI has tweaked it for the holiday season since Krampus is a Christmas related character. This being the case it's possible that you're being awarded a spell but it just happens to be one that you already have. This can happen under normal circumstances. I believe there are fourteen possible spells dropped by the Loremaster and a very low random chance to get one after a battle. Once you do get one that means there is now one fewer spell you can get and so on and so on. The more spells you get the lower the chance of being awarded one of the remaining ones. Look at it like a prize wheel with fourteen spaces, one for each spell. If you get lucky enough to have a spell included in your post-battle loot THEN you get to spin the prize wheel. You are guaranteed a spell your first time. The next time, and every time after that, when you spin the wheel there's a chance you'll land on a spell you've already gotten. Theoretically you could beat the Loremaster thousands of times and never get all of her spells.
