Pet Pavilion maze problem

Recently I went to the pet pavilion and tried the maze game. For some reason my pet went through lots of fish but my computer only registered 4 why?

You lost connection with the pet maze game itself. It happens. Once you exit the game, it resets itself and should be fine.
