Pet race bug/glitch?

I have played the pet race with my teen unicorn, and not even 1 minute into it, Wizard101 loading appeared and when it stopped, I was my pet unicorn.

Can you fix this for pet games too? I was finished a pet game and my wizard and pet were stuck inside the game.
