Problems with casting and diffrent wands

I am having trouble with casting in battle I have bought a new want and it says that I can use a new card death trap, when I get into battle thats all I can use I have my deck and cards on it but I only have 7 of the death trap please explane whats going on and how to fix it please

Did you equip the new deck and add cards to the deck? Since wand spells equip automatically you may be lacking spell cards in the deck itself.
