Hello, today I was in the arena and shrike failed to completely pierce a tc tower shield(55%). I had on shrike, shrike's pierce spear and had utilized an extraordinary enhanced spell. My base pierce was also 20% This is a total of 50%(shrike)+10%(shrike spear)+20%(gear pierce)+15%(extraordinary)=95% pierce. Yet my opponent's tower shield was not pierced and still displayed 11% remaining on the shield.
Sure they didnt have another shield? Say a -70% shield or A -50% Shield? the shields pierce in an order. It can completely Cancel out a -70% then Attack a -55% bringing it down to 11%. Multiple factors Can be brought in such as did he have an aura as that adds to the piercing aspects to and then shields come into the piercing scope. Hope that made sense
It's glitched for sure. The first turn of Shrike is working as usual, but there is no pierce stat after that. You get the 10% spear from a "like" but the base is gone from the second and third turns.
