Something not making sense

When you enter unicorn way, the guy who guard there will say: Becarful out there, i saw many wizard go there and never come back. Even a wizard is defeated, he will return to safety. And almost no buddy die easly there.

i think its to scare the new people and make it more of a challenge to them
