I agree, my WC house is getting kinda old and then when I heard there would be a house for each school I was going YIPEE YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Oh then I find out it's 10,000 crowns or 100,000 gold. Nice bargain.

Sorry, but the mounts aren't expensive nor are the new houses any more expensive in my opinion. And since it's been a known fact for months that the houses were to be released sometime after the mounts, common sense told us that they'd be a tad more then the mounts.
And sorry but 10,000 more coin isn't that big of a jump in price. Nor is the extra 1,000 crowns.
not really, mounts are extremely overpriced but the new houses are both awesome and huge. they are well worth it. (except for the fire one which stinks :p )

These special houses aren't overpriced, they are for the player to work towards (100K coin) or a player to treat themselves (10K crowns, at the best rate of 750 crowns = $1). Please note, this is only a tad over $13 real life dollars, or the price of one movie ticket in my city (sans popocorn or any other munchies)....and I get more than 2 hours of enjoyment (which few current movies are giving).
Maybe instead of just complaining you should try and come up with some LOGICAL solutions, even though KI employes are pretty darn crafty, they can't come up with 'em all! :)

Houses were the prices I expected. As well as I wasn't surprised in the least when the complaining started immediately about the prices. All pretty predictable in fact.
The houses are expensive, but they are supposed to represent the kings of the world. You have the beginning houses for after you have gotten to a certain point then you can upgrade to the castles after you have beat the game and now that you have farmed regeants and high level items you can sell off to make big money fast you can get these mansions with no problem. I wouldn't feel self satisfied by spending real money on mansions when you can earn it. But k sa ra sa ra.
