With the black licorice wand, the casting animation shows the abyssal eel whip, not licorice. When casting a weakness, it shows question mark symbols instead of a damage icon.
I thought I was going crazy and it was just me. I'm also noticing the question mark thing with a Weakness cast. It's a green question mark in a circle then a colon, then -25, then another green question mark in a circle.
