This is probably the strangest bug I have ever encountered. At the start, it was the classic "Error 107" which would always show regardless of other circumstances whenever I logged in. The launcher screen would be fine, but the computer would always display "Error 107" when I hit login. This started when I downloaded the latest update.
I reported the problem to KingsIsle, who kept telling me to check my security. After confirming that Wizard101 was not, in fact, being affected at all by my security, KI escalated my problem to CodeWeavers.
They told me the update had failed on my Mac, and I should follow a set of steps to fix it. I messed up halfway thru the instructions, and corrupted the Wizard101 files for my Mac. Now, the bug would instead make the launcher take forever to load, and when it did, show the standard "No Internet Connection" launcher screen. Error 107 still appeared.
So I went to the Apple store, and had my Mac's memory wiped, so it effectively became a whole new computer with no corrupted files and no security. An entirely different Mac. After downloading W101 on THAT Mac, the bug's second, "Corrupted" form still appeared. Why?!
I know it's not my router, because I can play on other computers that use it. I know it's not my firewall, because that's off. I know it's not the Mac's built in security, because I can play on other Macs. I know it's not my account, because on other computers I can connect fine. I know it's not other security, because I don't have any. I know it's not the update, because other Macs can handle it. I know it's not the corrupted files, because those were wiped from my computer, along with any other viruses that might have been on it.
If you still have your support ticket information from Codeweavers, I'd suggest contacting them with this new information and maybe they will be able to assist you further.
