When You Give Present Do You Get It As Well

I was just wondering I have enough crowns to buy a broomstick and my friend has no crowns at all and wants one if I buy a broomstick as a present will I get one to because I don't want to waste my last few crowns on something my friend can get on her own..... Do I get it or not? :?

No young Wizard. When you go into a store and purchase an item for a friend as a gift, they don't throw in one for you too. :)

If you wish to buy your friend a gift, as well as buy yourself an item, make sure you can afford both.
