These are ordinary enemies, rank 5, running around in Katzenstine's lab. They are all immune to Beguile. Why? They aren't bosses or anything.
because beguile works on an enemy's emotions to favor you, hence the hearts that appear when you cast it. since the clockworks are machines, they have no emotions. therefore they are immune to the spell. it's like trying to sweet talk your toaster into not burning your toast. just doesn't work. -eli and crew

clockworks don't have any blood, either, or life for that matter, but Vampires can still bite them and drain life.
I would think it would be pretty easy to take over the remote control of a machine. Far more easy than taking over a human or living creature mind.
