This week we had to ban a handful of accounts because some of the account holders had purchased in-game items via fraudulent credit cards and then gifted those items to other players. Some of the gifted accounts were temporarily banned in order to ensure we could confirm and sanction the bad actors involved. Recipients unknowingly affected have had their game access restored.

Our apologies for the suddenness of the action. We are looking into better ways to prevent having to take these sort of actions, even temporarily, on legitimate accounts. This includes considering new in-game functions.

To help us in the meantime, please report any suspicious behavior when someone provides you with free in-game items or codes for no apparent reason, or asks you to do them a favor, especially if they ask you to visit an unauthorized third-party website. Would rewards from Grub Guardian be considered fraudulent? It's still possible to play it through a few mobile app stores, and receive rewards from it as well. Would getting rewards from there be considered suspicious? Hopefully it isn't.
