They have about a 1 in 20 chance of dropping a +25 rank 8 snack each harvest (Crab Apple or Sun Fruit). Charley in Krokotopia and Verne in Wysteria sell the seeds for 2400 gold, but you can usually get them in Bazaar for a little under 2000.
