My storm is almost level 96, and just starting Khrysalis. I know I will be exalted before Eclipse Tower because my life wizard was this over levelled, and she reached exalted before learning her first shadow spell.
I am planning on going straight to Darkmoor when I hit 100.
Will Eclipse Tower be necessary for getting shadow pips? Will glowbug squall be unusable until I complete eclipse tower? Or once I learn glowbug squall, will I just start gaining shadow pips?
I remember waiting to do eclipse tower before Darkmoor on my life wizard in case my shadow spell wouldn't be usable, but I've always wondered if you are able to cast shadow spells without the proper introduction.
