Does anyone have a theory as to why Mshai Djeserit has a beard, despite being a queen? I just noticed this, and considering how tarted-up Krokopatra looks it seemed weird.
If I remember correctly from a show I watched on ancient Egypt, even the female rulers wore beards. I really can't remember the reasoning behind that though.
Take Hatshepsut for example she wore a beard, a symbol of the pharaoh(it actually means "Great house") and its also possible that she wished to hide the fact that she was a woman, and because Krokotpia is based on ancient Egypt, it is therefore plausible that its a similar reason. Please don't mind this history lecture.
