What if all the self attack spells simply did damage as backlash instead of plain death damage. Just like with the Shadow Shrike backlash. This way death wizards can actually use their spells without either crippling themselves or using up all of their blades. This would also make the Jade Juju spam technique harder since Jades would have to stop and heal themselves a lot more often since Backlash ignores resist.
