Yes yes many people say Ice's attacks are weak and horrible. They might be a bit low, but Ice is not EXACTLY a tank school. You see, they don't have to shield or heal; they have crazy good health, a great blade, an awesome arena (or whatever you call balefrost) and a decent trap. Sure they don't get the blade for a long time, but their minion is good, using warped storm spells. Since they have so much health, they don't NEED to heal and shield. They just have to worry about blading, trapping, and possibly converting. I'm level almost 48 ice and made up a spell called super colo. It's a colossus with elemental blade, ice blade, ice trap, and balefrost. Ta da! It does about 2,000 damage, which I'd say is about as strong as a fully fledged stormzilla. You see, they just worry about buffing up their spells. That's all they have to do. And that is pure offense.
