For some odd reason, I don't know why I am not able to do solo battles. Like I need someone to help me at all times. But I don't want to feel needy all the time. Here are the items that I have on my wizard. I'm also a level 78 Myth.

~Hat~ Paladin's Frosty Helmet - +425 health
~Robe~ Windbreak of Nodor - +630 health
~Boots~ Deep Water Splashers - +209 health
~Wands/Staffs~ Auspice of Icewind Glade
~Athames~ Badger's Claw - +349 health +250 mana
~Amulets~ Deperdable Squire Torc - +355 health
~Rings~ Circle of Caliburn - +366 health +170 mana
~Pet~ Seraph (Epic) +121 health

Hello Pixie,

Congratulations on achieving level 78! I'm to lazy to look up all those pieces of equipment, so I will offer you some general suggestions regarding your gear, pet, etc. This is ALL based on my opinion, as everyone's play style differs to some degree, so please take it all in with an open mind.

Gear:

While Critical Hit is extremely convenient, do not neglect the benefit of Critical Block as this will prevent some trips back to a base camp zone to replenish Health/Mana.

Accuracy is a must! All the damage boosting in the Spiral means nothing if you fizzle

Damage boosting comes from our gear, useful pets, and our spell enhancements, so remember to cast them whenever a battle permits it. Keep in mind though, you don't have to set up the "one shot" all the time, smaller, multiple hits can be just as effective. A common mistake, don't overload your spell deck, only use necessary spells.

Use your Training Points wisely and perhaps acquire a Life Mastery amulet to be able to cast Satyr (Note: you will need 7 available TPs to learn the spell).

While dueling, visualize the outcome, learn the strengths/weaknesses of the schools you are battling against. Anticipating the move of your opponent(s) will help you select the most appropriate spells and insure yourself a victory.

For example, when I fight Myth school mobs, I can expect the following:

Earthquake at 6 Pips = strategically cast your Blade, and attack spell around this.

At 5 Pips= possible Myth Imp cast, and I usually have Storm school Cleanse Charms in my TCs in my sideboard to eliminate Death/Life dispel.

High Pips=Medusa, or Basilisk, so prepare to be stunned, or put Stun Block in my deck as a counter.

If you have the time, and patience, take a break from leveling and research/develop a good pet to help you in your duels. One that either boosts your damage, heals, or a combination of benefits.

Best of luck to you,

Gabriel

You seem to have a lot of ice boosting stuff even though you are myth. You should focus on boosting your myth attack strength and critical block and try to get some universal resist if possible. I would say even the level 58 celesta gear from the bazaar would be better than what you have on now. The ring and athame should have some myth attack boost and crit block as well.

Unfortunately you aren't going to be able to get the best setup from the bazaar at your level and going forward. If you want great stuff you'll have to farm or craft. I would highly reccomend getting into crafting if you aren't already.

At that level you should ideally be using some mix of Waterworks and crafted gear. Focus on myth damage, accuracy, block, and universal resist.

Your deck should be pretty small. Most of the time you'll have a few blades, frog, and colossal and not much else. For bigger bosses add traps, feint, and maybe a single target attack for backup.

You need some way to heal efficiently, though you shouldn't have to too often.
