Balance or Life Mastery

Hello,

Which mastery would be best for an Ice wizard? I would prefer Balance or Life but I'm open to all suggestions.

Life Mastery is useful for any school other than Life. Balance Mastery is pretty limited in use. Adding healing ability to Ice is also very useful in team situations because you can heal and be tank.
