Why can't we purchase this pet as a gift for someone? It's not an option from Spooky Bob and it's the only one not listed in crown shop. Is there a reason for this?

Yes the black cat does drop lord nightshade does only during the month of october. The boss in the master halloween tower drop it but keep in mind all pet drops are rare.
