Bosses Dropping Crown Items?

I was just wondering if bosses are suspose to drop crown only items as loot...

reason why i ask is....

I was in Dragonspyre fighting the Boss Minator and at the end it droped a ring that in my pack had the crown symbol next to it.... it read crown only no auction...

was just wondering if bosses do drop crown only items or was this a fluke....

Yes many items that can be purchased with Crowns are also available as drops from bosses!
If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.

It's very rare, but bosses do drop some Crowns-only items. I've gotten a few dozen total, including some fairly decent equipment.
