No, you may not wear one outfit over another. But, the answer to your situation may be stitching. Stitching is taking the appearance of one item, and giving it the stats of another item. If you go to the commons, talk to Eloise Merryweather. There should be an option called stitching. This will combine your two items. For example, it could make an outfit that has the same stats as your stat equipment, but looks like the Vestment of Spirit. Stitching an item costs only 100 crowns! If you do not have money for crowns, I suggest watching ten videos with the "Earn Crowns" button to get 100 crowns for free, and stitch your items. Hope I helped!
