Does anybody know of a guide that lists what drops in the wooden chests, silver chests, skeleton key chests, daily assignment chests, or fishing chests?? I KNOW there are places like central that you can look up what a monster drops, but I have yet to see anything like a chest drop.
I know of none. But making such a list would be really hard is what i'm guessing. Wooden chests mostly drop gold, but while questing through Mirage one of the chests gave me some reagents. Can't recall which ones in particular though.
Not 100% sure but these are my understandings of the drops
Wooden and silver chests up to Dragonspyre seem to drop gold plus a random tc Worlds after that slowly drop more gold plus tend to drop a random harvestable reagent (no amber vine etc)
Skeleton chests are the same as the exalted one shot dungeon chests, basically its just a drop from a list look up the one you want to open
Fishing chests i have no clue what the system is, seems to be random dropped gear from mobs around the world or furniture (the exception being the Elephant Graveyard with its code wands) and often a reagent of some kind. Zafaria chests can drop things like amber/vines.
Daily assignments i seem to recall somewhere seeing a collection of drops but idk where it was. All i can say is you get those housing games from the fairegrounds, and some pretty rare pets during member events if you are lucky

There are some pages on the Wiki on Wizard101 Central that might help. If you do a 'search' for Chests on the main page on the Wiki, you get this list:
There is also a category for "Locked Chests". On this link, you can click on the blue highlighted sections for more details (ex: chests by key, or by world):
