I was opening packs just now try to get a Deer knight but then a Handome Fomori popped up which would have been fine... had I been an Ice wizard but I am currently a level 37 Magus Necromancer -.- so I was wondering is there anyway to have KI swap it for a school appropriate spell (in my case Deer Knight).

no, we can't swap, though it would be awesome if we could.
my balance wizard has brimstone revenant and luminous weaver, both from packs; i never got the drops i needed (loremaster and savage paw) so i crafted them instead- same with deer knight, for my exalted death wizard. it took forever, but it was worth it.
(once you get to avalon, go and see grady in dun scaith to purchase the recipe- i'd be happy to take you there once i renew my membership, since i don't believe i own the area; i may also have some spare deer knight tc, if you need them for the recipe, so maybe we can meet in-game)
ps: during the week, i'm usually on between midnight-4am atlantic time (which is 10pm-2am central or 8pm-midnight pacific). hopefully this works for you!
i'm a crowns player at the moment, but i own a lot of areas (and i bought some more, so i can take you to buy the recipe because i can't remember if i own that area or not)~ how about we meet on tuesday night at 1am atlantic (which, depending on where you are, is either 9-11pm or midnight) in front of the storm tower, lincoln realm area one; does that work for you?
ps: my wizard's name is sestiva stormblade, and she's dressed all in purple (even her hair) krok-themed armour.
