I went through all the rubble in the ossuary in Celestia and found the Jelly wand. Great stats but it's from my school. I don't like to carry a wand from my school because I end up breaking my own traps for a measly sparkle spell. I would trade someone for a Life Jelly Wand. Are they given out according to what kind of wizard you are?

You can only trade treasure cards with other players. Check the Bazaar for wands that are not your school.

To respond:

Yes, the wand you received is solely based upon the school you are.

As suggested earlier, Bazaar will have some, may be a little pricey though.

You get it at the end of a side quest, the life version is called Rod of Rapture, quest is In Too Deep.
