Hi guys! I'm Alexis Winterblood, a level 39 balance wiz half-way there to becoming a level 40. I've been noticing some little things lately, and I've started to just wonder if I'm 'where I should be'. Currently I've just started Mooshu, and I'm up to defeating the War Oni (Crimson Fields). Unfortunately for me, I always get interrupted and have to log off when I'm trying to work through the dungeon. Coincidence, right? :/ It feels a bit like I'm behind on the storyline quest and journey through the Spiral. For instance, although I wizzed through Marleybone in around a week, I started it at around level 34! And it felt rather awkward to see level 20s' to be walking around like... What have I missed? I've started to get a bit excited about Dragonsypre, knowing that once Mooshu is over I'll be heading into Malistaire's 'home world'! Also to the point I'll have to fight him. And defeat him. O_o So here's the story. I private messaged my level 100 myth friend asking what he was doing. He said he was farming for the bolt blade, which I just seemed to have. Curious, later, I searched it up on the Wizard Central wiki and noticed that there was a similar wand - the Shockblade of the Hoarder. The wand is dropped by The Collector, a boss in Dragonspyre - and it's level 45+. I've also seen heaps of level 40s' going around in Dragonspyre. I'm almost a level 40 and I have no clue about the place! So, I was just wondering, am I where I should be? Is this the place a level 39 would currently be in? I honestly don't know. I pulled up another couple of levels from doing some Marleybone side quests, but that wasn't much whatsoever. Maybe just two levels' difference. Thanks guys! :)
In Marleybone make sure to to look in the houses in reagents square there are often many quest also continue to to read the messages on the side because some of those are offers for quest and other things you are on I good pace right now but I would recommend to do some dungeons like spiral cup or winter and and get up to at least level 45 before moving on past the Crimson fields because it will help you tremendously later.

You're doing fine on level for where you are in the game. You would be lower level if you skipped side quests is all. Being in the early 40's going to DS is right where most people are when they start it.
Hey guys! Thank you so much for the advice. It's comforting to know that I'm in the right place at the right time :) Then again, lately I've told myself not to rush through the levels and worlds, just to enjoy my ride through the spiral. Because honestly, whilst everyone wants to reach level 100 (and I do too), once you're there, you'll kind of sit back and be like "Well, okay, that was fun. Now what?" But that's just my opinion. In the end of the day, I'm not a level 100 myself. :) So again, thank you guys so much for your advice!
I was level 45 at least, when I started MooShu. Perhaps I was overlevel, but there were people I found in the plaza of conquests at level 60 (This was after Celestia came out, in fact, they had up to Azteca when I reached Dragonspyre, but now I'm currently in Azteca, so I'm a bit with the times now)

Yes, you are overleveled. But that isn't a problem. Enjoy it, and don't change your habits.
Hello, Oni Slayer with a tip here. Work on side quests, and get new quests until you have the right power for your place in the spiral. Malistaire is easy and does not require extreme spells, like above 8 pips. His minions will make it harder for you, but I guarantee, Malistaire is not really hard. But once you get to Morganthe and Malistaire the Undying... -.-
