How do we use the spells such as Leviathan, Forest Lord, and Medusa item cards if they aren't in our school and we get them from our gear? I have tried to use it alot and it seems to not work. Can someone help me? I really dont want to spend alot of crowns just to use a spell i will replace later. Help!

If those Item spells are not of your main school of focus or you do not have a Mastery Amulet for the school of the spell, those spells will use the full number of pips required.
If you have, say 4 Power Pips and Forest lord is 8 pips, you will have to be a life wizard, or have a life mastery amulet or have a full 8 pips even if they are all power pips before you can use them.
There are a few weaker versions of some of the spells but I am not that familiar with them and don't know if any of the weaker versions are Item cards.
