Level 90 delay turning in quest for XP?

There are many side quests where you don't actually get the XP until you go back and talk to the person who gave you the quest. The Prospector Zeke quests are a good example. If my level 90 balance wizard completes the work of the quest now, but waits until after the level cap is raised to go back and talk to the quest giver, will she then get the XP for the quest, or will it be withheld because she did the work before the cap was raised?

You get the experience when you hand in the quest so if you waited until the cap is raised you will get the experience.
