Yeah that kind of annoys me sometimes even with gear (looking at you mega bundle gear with the poofy princess dress)
A lot of times I like the way things look on a male base more than the female base, certain hairsyles (like the licorice and that one with the headband that shows up as goggles on males.) also a lot of gear sets like mega bundle gear or the halloween gear. I wanted a skull for a head, and a funny looking suit instead I ended up with a dress and the hat that gives you weird hair. This is just another one of those things
