Hi, not sure if this is the right board (move if necessary) but my parents are getting me a new computer (laptop or tablet), and I want to make sure whatever they get me is compatible with Wizard101. Any suggestions? I'm pretty sure they'll be spending less than $300. I was thinking a tablet would be cool, but do they work with this game?

Thank you!

What You'll Need to Play Wizard101 on a PC
Internet: Internet Connection Required
Operating System: Windows 98SE or later versions
Processor: 1GHz Intel Processor
RAM Space: 512 Megabytes
Video Card: Best results with GeForce 2 or equivalent
(standard in most PCs)
Disk Space: 5 Gigabytes

Wizard101 will not play on a Tablet as it would not have the storage, graphics etc to run the game.

Yes Anthony, tablets are not all designed to run most of the games. I have seen IPAD's run a minecraft lite version of the game but not the full version. I would go with a laptop and would suggest a decent video card installed on it. My kids play games on their laptops but currently my son's laptop is having trouble running some online games because of his video card. To my knowledge the video cards on laptops are not upgradeable. Also there are some manufacturers out there that make "gaming laptops" but I don't think they are within a 300 dollar budget. I hope this helps some.

Thank you, I will definitely use this info for when I buy my new computer. I'm certainly not using mac since the game has a lot of problems on it and macs are expensive.
