Of course, we all know Ice takes out Fire, but Fire melts ice. That's why they oppose each other. Same with Life and Death. Death is the opposite of Life, as Life is opposite of Death. Why does Storm and Myth oppose each other? What enemy relationship do they have? The reason(s) why Storm and Myth oppose each other will have to remain unfound. However, Balance does not have a class to oppose, surprisingly, or does it? Are there any classes that oppose Balance? Please post your answers here for the 2 questions: Why does Storm and Myth oppose each other, and does Balance have any opposing class?

The Spirit Schools (Life, Death and Myth) boost on Balance, but Balance boosts on nothing. I don't know the reason Storm and Myth are opposites. Also, starting in Celestia, we get two new boost triangles: Fire boosts on Life, Life boosts on Storm, and Storm boosts on Fire. Also, Death boosts on Myth, Myth boosts on Ice, and Ice boosts on Death. The Astral Schools also feature these triangles: Sun features the first triangle and Moon features the second triangle. Star features Balance. This is shown on the triple Blade, Shield and Trap for the schools.
I think at some point every concept in the game breaks down and becomes arbitrary if you think too long on it. For example, fire and ice are not opposites when you get down to it (one is a chemical change and the other is just water in a solid state), but since folklore and mythologies treat them as opposites, it made for a good game concept. And, since we're talking about magic (something that can't be defined carefully), it's both lucrative and convenient for the developers to make lots of different forces that are meant to oppose each other. They went with Storm and Myth as school concepts, but just as easily could have made Water and Earth, or Peanut Butter and Jelly, or whatever really.
So at the end of it all, although I generally like questioning things and challenging the status quo, this is one of those areas where I personally think it's more fun if I don't question it.
OK i got you answer me and my friend had a big fight and came on agree mint a year ago over this
myth is well the class of like ideals and stuff but not real stuff. like the class say you can make anything out of your mind
storm on the other hand is more about logic and reason and since and from what it seems storm is a magic where you make storms so your taking something that already there and use in it unlike myth because myth makes it own stuff out of there mind
and that's why storm is opposite of myth
is made up of all the classes that why it dose not have a opposite because it is already all the classes just combine into one school
but if it where to have a opposite i guess disorder would be the best class for that

Death has a boost on balance and something else has a boost on balance that I don't remember. But I don't know if it's the other way around too. As for Myth and Storm Storm is the highest base attack elemental school while myth is the highest base attack spiritual school. Plus all the other schools have their obvious opposites. So there was really nothing left. But I wonder if opposing schools professors have like somewhat of a rivalry. Wouldn't it be weird to see Prof. Balestrom against Cyrus?

You're pretty much correct on most of the things you said, but I want to clarify something. Fire has the highest base damage of the game with its DoTs. Fire Elf does 310 damage, Lightning Bats does 285 at max. Heck Hound has the highest base damage of any spell in the game at thirteen pips. Scald does 495 damage, Tempest does 400 damage at five pips. Scald even beats a six pip Tempest in damage. That should be enough, although there are other Fire spells that do more damage than their Storm counterparts, and they're all DoTs. I'm not counting in Shadow Enhanced Spells, because Fire's is single target while Storm's is multi-target.

First of all, I am a Balance Wizard, and to that, no enemies of Life, Death, or Myth has boosted on me and yes it is true I do not boost on anything.
Eh i disagree i think balance wizard are to low in power they get ok resistance and most of there spells are blades or traps that can be used by anyone also most of there spell hit low unless you crazy boost them with gear power, blades and enchant.

I disagree. I've never had any problems mostly soloing with my Balance. Also, most of their spells aren't blades or traps.

I was talking pvp wise any class you can solo with because you just need to know how but there some places in the game you can't solo even if you did try because of how hard it is for anyone but to test how strong you class is you get the best of the best player together to play as there best class and i have played balance before compare to my ice i think there power level is almost the same and i notice that most of there spells are blades or traps or 3 headed hit spells that don't do much like hydra for one then there the new spell one and the like lion dragon goat thing then there the one that hit with ether fire ice or storm and the 3 headed spell are the hardest to get to hit good because the power level on the spell is weak in the first place
and that why i think balance needs a small boost and i think they keep balance power rate lower then most class because it can't really be block unless you got tower block if there using there own class and not one of the spell that use ice or fire or storm or death or myth or life
