Polymorphing and Pet Spells.

I have a question for all of you more experienced Wizard101'ers,
Can your pet still cast its spell after you have Polymorphed

My starfish has the ability may cast blades and does when I am the gobbler. If they come with a card, you have to wait until your six rounds are over.
