Pyrite in Wizard City

As of now I haven't seen any reports of pyrite or jewel drops in Wizard City or areas attached. With all the special events and side areas you can get level 15 without having access to Krokatopia. Eudora Tangletree sells the level 15 recipes the same as Wul'Yahm in Krokatopia. Just wondering if there is some or if not you might consider it.

I have yet to find Pyrite, Iron, or any of the metals to test the crafting station. Can someone please post where these are located?

Here's a list of where different metals have been found. It seems like the first world so far from reports it shows up is Krokatopia.

There's no point to having it too soon, but some of the last bosses in WC should drop jewels and pyrite. Maybe not Nightshade, since he gets farmed so much for holiday stuff, but how about:

Foulgaze
Harvest Lord
Gobbler King
Sunken City bosses
Crab Alley bosses

To me you are mainly talking about young kids in Wizard City. Not having it there or making it too difficult would be really frustrating to them. It should be a common drop. Most I don't think would care for endless farming for the pyrite.

Most of these are supposed to be able to be found in ore and scrap metal but so far its been a big fat zero. If the metals and tc are as hard to find why even try the crafting. I would actually love to try just to check it out but I don't have any idea if the metals are even in the game yet. I ask others did you find pyrite or iron or anything they all are silent. Guess that means there is none in game as of yet. Please put these in the game or at a vendor so we can at least try it.

I know my grand kids and having them only on bosses they probably won't be farming for them and pretty much just skip by the idea of jewels and socketing. There are pvp'ers who will be doing it no matter what to get even that smallest edge. But a lot of the young kids the game is targeted to it will be like the hunt for motes others have a problem with. You may want to consider what the normal audience range is in the earlier worlds and maybe even boost up other metals required on those. (Krokatopia, Marleybone, Mooshu.)
