This is about a Chipped Damage Onyx It has a +8, then a skull symbol for Death School, then the image of an open hand but with the fingers together. Level 25+ No Auction The fingers are not spread like I've seen on other things. It's like an open palm as if to slap someone. The Jewel: Chipped Damage Onyx +8 should have the icon with the hand / fist with the fingers together. It is the icon for "Damage". See this page which describes that Jewel:
