Does this new mount have a better drop rate than other pack mounts, or is it simply the fact that the pack is new, and that's why it seems everyone has a permanent edition of it?

Its still a matter of luck really, I've opened quiet a few packs and only got two temp mounts out of the mountains of housing items.

I ran into a lot of people who only had the temporary version. I spent quite a bit trying to get it but only got it as a temporary mount.

Took a few goes but I have 1 perm, 1 x 1 day and 1 x 7 day version. I stopped after I got the perm lol I have quite the menagerie of pets now though! :)

Did see someone in game say they have 2 perm.
