Should I change my secondary school?

Most wizards pick a second school to go along with the school they are in. I picked necromancy, or death. So my question would be, should I change to another school? I need to beat the waterworks, I am a myth wizard. Most people need people who can use life, or a strong school like storm. So I'm confused if I should, and what school I should pick.
Thanks.

Have you gotten feint yet? If you don't train till you get it then stop. Feint is super useful.

Then I suggest you get some balance blades and traps to boost your myth magic.

Then train to tower shield in ice.

And if you have any points left over, you should train the astral magics.

A secondary school isn't really needed - just some of the spells

My Myth did not train any outside spells but the Tri Blades from Niles, the Stun Block from Deigo and then at level 50 I started the Sun spells (fists) to boost my school spells. It takes 5 training points to get to Colossus and you don't have to take the accuracy spells to get there. I threw a lot of boosted, blades frogs.

I used the Jewel of Feint instead of training for it. Ice to tower is ok but I seem to be more of a hit and run wizard so I rarely shield unless it's some instance that requires it as which time I use TC for them.

  • Train ice up to tower shield
  • Train the sun spells up to colossal
  • Train up to satyr on life
  • Train spirit blade and spirit trap
  • Get a damage aura
  • Then just pick any other spells you want or just save for the azteca sharpened blade and trap
  • And maybe get feint if you want
  • Maybe a life polymorph

Yeah, I figured out a whole second school isn't really needed too late- I trained all life, when I realised I only needed it up to satyr.

Oops.

Now I'm training elemental traps/blades, Ice up to tower, and soon some astrals.
