so i have recently hit level 60 (actually 61 and almost 62) and I have been farming waterworks with fair luck (2 hats and 2 boots) and I am still going for the robe, but what this is all about is whether its a good idea to eventually ditch the boots for the ones crafted from Zafaria. I took a look at both boots and waterworks gives mostly better stats but the crafted ones have much more block and i was wonder if should stick with waterworks. Is having more block that important for having the other stats lowered slightly? Is blocking critical from bosses going to be that difficult without the extra boost? By the way I am a fire wizard if that information is needed.

Fire Starter boots vs. Freezing Flame Rangers.

Why not keep them both and assign each to a different gear set? That's what I've done and it works very well. I usually have three or four of each type of gear in my inventory, all assigned to different sets for different abilities. One for attack damage, one for fire defense, one for death defense etc. Depending upon the enemy you can pick and choose which set will be the best for each individual battle and it's a simple one-click switch to whichever set you want.
