I saw on the wiki that the Crystal Spider Queen in DS have the Dryad Amulet which will be extremely useful for my myth wizard.
Which I really like Storm and often use Storm spells. But since you can only have one amulet equipped, should I use a Crystal Queen Amulet( called Crystalline Queen's Pendant) Or a Storm Mastery Amulet?
(They're both hard to get for me!) I Still haven't beaten the Crystal Queen Gauntlet and don't even think about those Wintertusk monsters since I can't even beat the first monster I see (Frozen Bones))
Currently, I'm wearing Star amulet (Satyr and Seraph)
If I were you, I would concentrate on using myth spells instead. They really are awesome! Monstrous bladed frogs work great and if you cannot get monstrous tcs, you can always get tough tcs as well. Facing a myth enemy? Try the myth prism. :)
And use a small deck! One of the fansites has a couple of good tips for you:

I don't get why people use small decks! i use all my deck up (astrological deck) i put 7 judge and heaps of other 7 stuff.
It all boils down to how long you want to face the monsters? If you fight with friends they will carry you wile you discard for the ones you need. If you solo or even have a friend along at higher levels being able to trap, trap and get a boosted damage spell helps move things along and prevents defeat.
My life wizard is the only one that has a few extra spells in hand but that is because she does help others so I put a Satyr and Rebirth in besides the one Fairy I carry in all our decks - she rarely has to use them because she can mass remove the monsters with Forest Lord. You can always pack some enchanted or any extra cards in your sideboard if you fear of running out. It is also common for wizards who run a 15 card deck to train in Reshuffle.

the main reason is you draw a lot of same copies of each of your 7 cards and end up stalling most of the time. A smaller deck is quicker to sift thru giving you a better chance to cast each turn. if you loose all your cards quickly, all you need to do is cast reshuffle. Try it sometime and see how you can decimate enemies in quite a few turns.

Large decks are wonderful and necessary in pvp, but can be cumbersome in pve. If you cannot get to your spell when you need it, you might have to wait a few turns before you can hit, just because your spell did not show up. With a small deck, you are more likely to get the cards you need. :) For example, if you are EMP farming as in this video:
The storm hitter has a small deck so he can just blade in the first turn and then tempest in the second. Makes farming simple and quick, to get in lots of runs for lots of EMP chances.
It helps just to have only what you need in a battle. Since you are balance, you can reshuffle as well, which is very helpful.
Here is a wonderful list of decks and strategies for balance:

Because when you have a full deck, you can never find what you need.
Here is an example: The example will be quoted,

Bob puts 2 colossal and 2 meteors in his deck, along with his 7 item cards. (Elemental Trap from Knightly Helm, 5 Heroic Hits from Sidhe Staff, 1 Fireblade from amulet) On the first turn, he finds: 4 Wands, 1 Blade, 1 meteor, 2 colossal.
The odds of Bob not finding a meteor and colossal to kill is around 4/11.
Now Joe on the other hand, puts 6 colossal, 2 tower shields, 6 fireblades, 6 meteors, 6 satyr, 6 pixies, 2 sprites, 4 wildfires, 3 elemental blades, 8 fire dragons, 5 efreets, 8 rain of fires, and 4 gargantuans. Plus his 7 item cards, same as Bob. On the first turn, he finds: 1 Wand, 2 Fireblades, 1 meteor, 3 Satyrs, 1 Fire Dragon. Joe has to discard half his hand to find what he needs, which may not be on the next turn. His odds of him not finding what he needs is 53/71.
When you put them equivalent to each other, here it is: If scaled both to 781, a multiple where both find each other, here are the odds: 284/781 for Bob. 583/781 for Joe. Bob's odds of failing is less than half of Joe's Chance at failing. Bob's chance is 299 less likely to fail. (If that made sense lol)
Therefore, Bob will be more successful in achieving quick and simple fights, whereas Joe's battles may drag on for over twice as long.
