An idea just came to me that perhaps a way to introduce Stitching for Gold rather than Crowns would be to give that ability to Master Artisans. They'd have to go to the Dragonspyre Crafting Station, but then the Stitching would be for a price in Gold rather than Crowns. That way, there would be a way for non-crown buying players to earn the ability to Stitch. Granted, I buy crowns, but I can sure understand the many reasons why player would rather not. Also, I feel like there should be more benefits bestowed on Master Artisans. It is extremely difficult to make it all the way to Master Artisan and I think it would be a great reward.
i like this idea! it is really hard to become a master artisan due to black pearls and scrap iron (especially if you ae a life, having to get more black pearls) So i think we've earned it
After I got to Master Artisan, I was kind of disappointed. All of the countless hours that I spent rummaging the roads of Mooshu for Black Pearls, and Black Lotuses, and the hours spent in Marleybone looking for those Springs and Scrap Iron. The reward just seemed.... lame. Almost as if there was no real reward, just the opportunity to spend even more countless hours gathering more reagents to make stuff to look at.
This would definitely get more people to try for the Master Artisan Badge, and be a great incentive for those who already have.
i like the idea but i dont think KI would go for it we could make it at a master level you could get the crown price for stitching reduced like instead of 101-100 it could be like 60-75
