We all know its a PAIN to farm Darkmoor Malistaire but I noticed that the new wands from the darkmoor pack are slightly stronger then mali's high tier wands.
Using storm for comparison
Mali 95 block 100 critical 13 percent storm pierce +1 power pip shadow blade x2, and x2 ultra dark/Ultra jolt (140 shadow and 140 storm)
Terror hoard elemental wand 8 percent damage boost to all elemental schools 6 percent power pip chance boost 115 for crit and block +1 power pip 6 ultra blaze (140 fire) May cast shift akhtang (1000 sun damage)
the spirit school one being the same but with +10 percent spirit school damage and 5 less block and 5 less crit.
It's an alternative. You are trading some pierce for more damage, which may be a bonus for farming or questing, but a compromise in some PvP situations. I can see myself doing that on ice and myth, maybe not on storm.
The may cast could be handy in some situations. It's not something to count on, but seems to cast often enough to help.

Terror's Hoard Pack Wand (there better) rare shift astral spell (best use that) for damage and don't care so, much about armor pierce (but ok with armor pierce) wouldn't go any deeper into armor pierce (never know what new spell come next and some spell make armor pierce unless to use armor pierce (most likely for aura spell & possible shadow magic)
