so today I decided to go and fight youkai in the tree of life so I could get that elegant hat with the fire symbols on it but I wasn't going in there for a big string of runs, just one so I could familiarize myself with the boss but when the duel was over (with relative speed) a looked at my drops and I saw that had gotten a hat with fire stats but instead of going into my backpack to take a look a decided to just equip it without looking first and when I equipped it, it was the very hat I was going for. I can't believe I got it first try without really thinking about it. Thank you my lucky stars and may every wizard get what they want sometime in the future (especially in darkmoore and Tartarus)
