If a card says that it increase the threat on target, that enemy will attack you a bit more. If it says it will reduce threat on target, the enemy will attack you less.
Yeah, like Victoria said. It increases the threat making it easier for you to kill. However, they will start attacking you especially if your doing a dungeon at a boss battle.. The main purpose of these cards is to "tank" damage, meaning one person takes all damage while others kill, best done with life (heal), death(heal with attacks), and ice(most health).
